When you create a project for your Texture Analyzer that you wish your team to use, you will want to be certain that your operators understand precisely how to perform the project. So, once you have created the project and are ready to share it, we recommend that you go to your Project Notes:

Right click in the white space. Here, you can insert a picture as a visual reminder of how the test should look before the operator starts the test (to make sure other users of the project set up the test in the same way). Select Picture and choose the required reference image and it will be inserted. You can also include a message to remind the operators to do something, e.g. to calibrate the force before testing. Once you’re finished, be sure to tick the box ‘Display when Project loaded’ and then Save your project. The next time an operator comes to open the project they will see your Project notes box which could look something like this:

Alternatively, you might like to take a photo of your sample before you test it and insert it into your graph information so that you have a record of it within your test file. To do this click on the Graph Notes tab (within the Info list below your graph) and right click in the white space and select Insert Picture:

The image is added as a character and can be sized by clicking on it and dragging the sizing handles.

In a macro, an image can be added to the ‘Display Notes’ command so it pops up to prompt the user when the macro is run. For example:

This information can be added via the ‘Display Notes….’ macro command as shown below:
