New award aims to increase awareness among professors and students of the importance of publishing high quality impactful research in sufficient detail that fellow researchers can replicate and build upon the work.

Established in 2012, the Texture Technologies Quality Research Award is awarded annually to two authors who write and present high quality research which broadly involves instrumental texture analysis.

One award will be presented to an author whose paper was published in Cereal Chemistry or Cereal Foods World the previous year. The second award will be presented to an oral or poster during the upcoming AACCI Annual Meeting. Award recipients must be either Professional or Student AACCI members. Submitted papers and posters will be judged by the AACCI‘s Texture Award Committee.
