Poppin Fresh at TTC Booth

TTC was delighted to attend the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE), the largest baking industry trade show in the Western Hemisphere. Held in September in Las Vegas, this event hosted nearly 900 exhibitors, held over 100 sessions, and welcomed over 20,000 attendees.

We would like a special shout out to General Mills. Once again they were enormous supporters of the IBIE 2022, including sponsoring many of the decorating contests. More importantly – it was sweet that “Poppin Fresh”, the Pillsbury Doughboy, visited our booth. We almost got away with poking him with our texture analyzer!

IBIE was one of several trade shows that TTC visited this summer. We unveiled our University Video Competition winners at the IFT FIRST (the Institute of Food Technologists’ Food Improved by Research, Science and Technology), where over 700 exhibitors welcomed over 18,000 attendees. Other highlights were the Cleveland Ceramic Expo, with 250 exhibitors, where we discussed how the Ceramscan precisely quantifies volume and product dimensions and how the Plus family of instrument are used as materials testers.

On October 28-29 we will joining a panel and exhibiting at the Cultured Meat Symposium in San Francisco. It should be a really interesting program for companies in or supporting this new emerging set of technologies.

We were excited to see such a great turnout for all these events!
