Background

This application study is the second in a series on recovery footwear. The first application used a TA-004 1.5” diameter acrylic cylinder probe to determine impact absorption and resilience over a lengthy 400 cycle test. This study evaluates whether the same behavior can be quantified by conducting a single cycle test with a TA-018 ½” diameter stainless steel ball probe. The results from this study will serve as a benchmark for a further study comparing OOFOS shoes to different shoe insole brands. For that third study, click here.
