Background

In 1953, the founders of Ore-Ida created the tater tot, a bite-sized fried potato snack known for its crispy exterior and tender interior. This study aims to assess the crispiness of tater tots cooked for varying durations using the TA.XTPlus Texture Analyzer, Exponent software, and the TA-40-PP-AG aluminum grid fixture.
