The Setting

The TA.XTPlus texture analyzer is a frequent fixture in university labs all over the world. However, one university realized that its texture analyzer was underutilized. Many of the original graduate students trained on the TA.XTPlus had graduated. Newer students didn’t know how to use the instrument and were missing valuable learning and research opportunities. The university contacted us for assistance.

Solution

We provided a complimentary texture analysis lecture and software training for a group of over twenty graduate students. We also provided them with access to our Texture Channel online video training so that the students could expand upon and review what they learned. With their newly gained knowledge, the students are once again able to conduct research projects with the TA.XTPlus. The university is pleased to have support and resources that help students use the texture analyzer.
