Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello and chat with us at IFT17 in Las Vegas in June. A special thanks to the Institute of Food Technologies (IFT) for yet another great event. There were plenty of new and exciting developments in food technology represented at IFT17. We are so pleased to hear that one of our long time users, Dr. Jozek Kokini from the Department of Food Science at Purdue University, was honored during the IFT17 Awards Celebration with the Appert Award. The Appert Award is IFT’s highest honor given annually to an IFT member for outstanding contributions to the field of food science and technology. The award includes a $5,000 honorarium and a plaque from IFT. Congrats to Dr. Kokini!
