Edible cannabis gummies are a popular delivery method for both THC and CBD recreational and medical products. Quality and consistency will be important as firms begin to apply pharmaceutical grade quality standards to edible cannabis products. This application study presents four testing methods to quantify the firmness, toughness, adhesiveness, and resilience of edible cannabis gummies. These metrics quantify the textural experience of the gummies and how those metrics change as a function of packaging and extended storage. The edible cannabis gummies that were tested include “UKU Cannabis Gummies” and “I Am Edible” Cannabis Raspberry Fruit Chews.
