Not sure which Texture Analyzer is right for you?

(Seriously. We love talking texture.)

Use Cases

Improve products with texture analysis.

Leverage objective quantifiable data to make product development and production processes better.

R+D

Precisely quantify the impact of changes in formulation, processing, packaging, storage and transportation.

Production Line

Integrate texture testing to identify and control source and batch variation. Improve processes based on measurements taken during key stages of production.

Q/C and Q/A

Establish your 'gold standard' product for quality control and for co-packers or co-manufacturing suppliers.

How it works

Simple mechanics.

Powerful results.

  1. Load cells are transducers that fit in the instrument crossarm to measure force in compression or tension. Capacity, calibration, serial numbers, and other important information is auto-detected during installation.
  2. The crossarm moves up and down to compress or stretch the sample. Arm movements are programmable for custom tests.
  3. PC Link is a computer cable connection for software control and analysis
  4. The sample testing area is where probes and fixtures are attached.
  5. An emergency stop button provides additional safety beyond mechanical stops.
  6. The control panel enables easy up and down movement of the crossarm for precise alignment of samples and probes.
  7. The touchscreen interface allows calibration, test setup and operation in standalone mode.
  8. The calibration platform is where weights can be positioned for simple calibration of loadcells.
  9. Data acquisition ports allow other devices to be plugged-in for simultaneous data collection.
  10. Electronics in the base can be upgraded with new firmware to improve functionality.

Features

The TTC Difference

Spend less time testing and more time on analysis.

Versatile

  • Measure any physical characteristic through fundamental, empirical and imitative tests.
  • Test thin and fragile samples.
  • Choose from over 200 accessories for additional capabilities.
  • A large working area provides superior sample support and fixture position flexibility.
  • A small footprint and manageable weight let you easily move the instrument around the lab.

Durable

  • Our partner, Stable Micro Systems, has a history of building instruments that work for decades.
  • The average lifespan of our instruments is 20 years.
  • We use only the highest quality materials and rigorously inspect every product to ensure accuracy.
  • Total mechanical overload protection means instruments can safely recover from full-speed impact.

User-friendly

  • Operate three different ways: from a PC program, touchscreen on the instrument, or browser on any device.
  • No dedicated PC needed—run from your tablet, phone or laptop.
  • Take measurements remotely.
  • See a visual test summary, calibrate, and control settings via the touchscreen.
  • Choose from 100+ preset projects or write your own.
